Mobility Assistance Finance Program

Under the Mobility Assistance Finance Program, qualified customers can receive retail financing on terms up to 96 months on new Toyota and Scion vehicles that meet Toyota Mobility Assistance Program guidelines and contain mobility equipment at the time of contract acquisition.  Since certain mobility adaptive equipment conversions (i.e. rampvan wheelchair access conversion) will alter the condition of the vehicle, a lease and balloon option is currently not available.  The Toyota Mobility Assistance Program provides up to $1,000 reimbursement for specific adaptive equipment for the less-able on all new Toyota/Scion qualified vehicles sold by authorized participating Toyota/Scion dealers.  Vehicles modified for the less able are defined as any aftermarket alteration or equipment installation that provides to the less able user convenient access and/or the ability to drive the vehicle. To qualify, all the following conditions must be met:
  • Only vehicles sold or leased and delivered to a retail customer by an authorized Toyota Motor Sales, U.S.A. Inc. dealer are eligible under this program.
  • The adaptive equipment must be installed within 12 months of vehicle purchase or lease.
  • A Reimbursement Application Form must be submitted to the Toyota Mobility Assistance Center within 90 days of complete installation of adaptive equipment.
  • Qualifying adaptive equipment or conversion is defined as any aftermarket alteration or equipment installation on an eligible Toyota vehicle that provides to the disabled user convenient access and/or the ability to drive the vehicle.
